About Me !

Let me introduce myself!

From the young age of 17 , I began  my journey in the caring industry and that's where my passion for helping and supporting people began. My role model was my Grandmother, she was a qualified nurse. I remember she bought me  a nurses fob watch for my 16th birthday, which I still treasure.

Fast forward 20 years …. I have gained many years of experience working with adults and children in various settings and establishments. 

My experience to date - 

I am currently working part time within the NHS IAPT Service  supporting people through anxiety & depression. Also, working in my Private Practice ( The WellBee’ing Lodge) 3 days per week.

  • I have worked in various Primary and Secondary Schools  as a School Counsellor.
  •  Trauma Therapist at OneinFour.
  • Supporting University students as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor.

Bereavement & Loss Therapist with Lewisham Bereavement.

  • I set up Private Practice in 2019 - The WellBee’ing Lodge.
  • In 2023 I have qualified and gained Professional Accreditation with The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.

The WellBee’ing Lodge is a safe and warm environment for children, individuals, couples and families. It is a safe space both physically and psychologically to explore your emotional struggles. Working together at your own pace, we will work through your worries, anxieties, trauma, bereavement and losses.I believe we all have our answers within but sometimes we need a little help from someone that isn’t emotionally involved.

At the WellBee’ing  Lodge i offer therapies in many therapeutic models , these are Person Centred Approach, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic and TA.

Therapy will involve looking at your defence mechanisms, coping mechanisms, unhelpful patterns of behaviour and past traumas that may have occurred in your life. I will try to enable, working together, to facilitate change in your life. The result being that you have a greater awareness of your whole being - Resulting in you having a positive outlook in your life whilst also improving your mental health and wellbeing.
