Let me introduce myself …..

At the young age of 17 , I started my journey in the caring industry and that’s where my passion for helping and supporting people began. This was inspired by my Grandmother who was a qualified nurse. I remember she bought me a nurses fob watch on my 16th birthday.

Due to life changes my career took a different turn and I worked within the catering industry. My professional career as a Catering Manager was exciting , I worked in prestigious locations in London. However, I still had the passion and burning desire to help and support people , I continued to volunteer and help in the community.

Almost 20 years later, I began my own therapeutic journey to become a qualified counsellor / therapist. A few bumps along the way , and many years of studying , exams , unpaid placements and a lot of self introspection, I qualified in 2019.

I have many years of experience working with adults, children and young adults In different settings and establishments. I have since passed my Professional Accreditation with The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. To be a registrant at this level means “ a counsellor who has met the standards for registration, and demonstrated substantial post-training professional development”. My experience has been working within primary and secondary schools as a school counsellor, a trauma therapist as I volunteered at OneinFour and Bereavement & Loss therapist with Lewisham Bereavement .

I began my Private Practice in Woolwich and the I moved to Abbeywood , I was lucky that I had a garden big enough to build a garden lodge, The WellBee’ing Lodge was created. It was a hard time for many as this was during Covid, as we were providing mental health support , we were “allowed” to carry on seeing clients in person, although many people preferred to move to remote therapy, which was understandable. At the core of our philosophy lies a deep reverence for the humble bee and its remarkable contributions to our environment. Just as bees work tirelessly, harmoniously supporting each other as a collective, we too are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive and flourish.

As a proud professional accredited by the National Counselling Psychotherapy Society, I bring years of dedication and expertise to our mission at The WellBee'ing Lodge. With a keen focus on the past, present, and future, I delve into the intricacies of attachment styles, understanding how our past experiences shape our present realities and influence our future trajectories.

We believe that everyone deserves access to support and guidance on their journey to mental wellness, and we're honored to play a role in that journey.

With an engaging and empathetic approach, we meet each individual where they are, providing a safe space for healing, growth, and transformation. Whether navigating the challenges of the here and now or envisioning a brighter future, we're here to walk alongside our clients every step of the way.

As the founder of The WellBee'ing Lodge, I am deeply humbled to be a part of this incredible community of resilience and strength. Together, let us harness the power of collective healing and support as we pave the way toward a brighter, healthier future for all.
